Brian Leonard is a drug discovery and translational strategy leader with 15+ years of experience building human-relevant discovery platforms and IND-aligned programs across leading biopharma organizations.

He has designed and scaled discovery engines from early lab setup through high-throughput automation, supporting antibody, small-molecule, and nucleic-acid–based modalities. Brian has held scientific leadership roles at Roche, Regeneron, and Yarrow Biotechnology, where he led platform architecture, assay strategy, and external execution to drive pipeline-critical decisions.

At Discovery Blueprint, Brian partners with early-stage biotech teams to convert complex biology into execution-ready programs—defining fit-for-purpose discovery strategies, pressure-testing translational assumptions, and building scalable workflows that stand up to investor and partner scrutiny. He integrates AI-enabled analysis tools to accelerate hypothesis testing and support data-driven decision-making.

Brian holds an MBA in Biopharma Innovation from Rutgers, completed laboratory training at Stanford University, and earned a B.S. in Biology and Bioinformatics, cum laude, from Niagara University.
